We are a well-funded MIT spinout whose vision is to bring to market their patented Machine Learning Routing platform, on a worldwide scale.
As a Machine Learning Software Engineer for the Data Characterization team, you will be responsible for implementing and integrating core POI characterization models and taxonomy models, as well as architecting the infrastructure for them. You will focus on building efficient and scalable microservices that support entity creation and relationship estimation for thousands of concepts used in travel-related activities.
To be qualified for this position, you should have a BS/MS in computer science or a related field and at least 2+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, backend engineer, or ML engineer. You should also have at least 3+ years of experience in Python and 2+ years of relevant academic research or industry experience in implementing learning and/or network algorithms and building models.
Preference will be given to candidates with depth and breadth in state-of-the-art approaches for at least one of natural language processing, operations research, or constraint programming.
