Suzy has more than 22 years of experience working within finance and brings a broad depth of commercial and financial knowledge to her role.

Suzy joined Understanding Recruitment as the Financial Controller in May 2013. She was later promoted to Finance Director in 2015 and then to her current role as Group Chief Financial Officer in 2021. Suzy not only heads up Finance but also HR, Compliance, Legal, IT, and Office Administration. She brings multi-sector experience and was previously the Head of Corporate Finance for Nuffield Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in the UK. She has a broad commercial finance background with experience in leading multiple functions.

One of the things Suzy most enjoys about her role at Understanding Recruitment is her ability to influence so many areas of the business and the broad variety of her role.

In her own time, Suzy is actually an accomplished pianist and a wine enthusiast!
