Product Engineer - AI - San Francisco
A fast-growing Series A startup building the next hyperscaler for AI agents, with 7-figure revenue, over $32M in funding from top-tier investors, and customers including leading AI and infrastructure companies are looking for an AI Product Engineer to join their team.
What will I be doing?
- Inspire developers by showcasing what they can build with our platform through creative examples and experimental projects
- Develop smaller examples for our Cookbook based on common user patterns
- Build full-scale projects that demonstrate platform capabilities
- Ship projects independently from 0 to 1, combining technical execution with marketing impact
- Lead by example through both AI agent development and developer content creation
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with proficiency in Next.js, TypeScript, and Python
- Familiarity with AI frameworks and tools like AI SDK, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, or Mastra
- Strong full-stack development skills and staying current with the latest AI technologies
- Detail-oriented approach with great taste in product and design
- Active GitHub profile with impressive projects (thousands of stars preferred)
- Bonus points for open-source contributions or experience at leading developer tools companies
