Forward Deployed Engineer - San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
A Seed Funded startup who are building an AI workforce to automate insurance workflows and unlock unprecedented efficiencies across the industry are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join their team.
What will I be doing?
- Build enterprise-grade AI agents from the ground up that automate complex insurance workflows
- Work closely with their CTO, who brings experience from building speech and language models at Apple's AI/ML org
- Talk directly to customers, understand their workflows, and translate requirements into robust agentic solutions
- Implement cutting-edge AI capabilities in production environments
- Collaborate with a small, elite team of engineers from Google X, Microsoft, Apple, and Meta
- Be at the forefront of AI agent system design while contributing meaningfully from day one
What are we looking for?
- Recent graduate with a CS/related degree or equivalent experience
- Strong foundation in software engineering principles and best practices
- Passionate about AI, ML, and building intelligent systems that solve real problems
- Self-directed problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Experience with Python, modern web frameworks, and cloud infrastructure
- Bonus points for prior work with LLMs, ML frameworks, or agent architectures
- Intellectual curiosity and drive to push technical boundaries
