About the job

Graduate Software Engineer

📍 Denver, CO (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

We’re working with an AI startup that builds software to optimise real-world transportation systems in real time. Their platform combines machine learning, data infrastructure, and modern distributed systems to enable smarter, faster operational decisions at scale.

They’re now hiring a Graduate Software Engineer to help build the product's core systems.

This is an opportunity to work on complex, production-grade systems from day one â€” not just internal tools or side projects.

The Role

You’ll join a small, high-performing engineering team and contribute directly to live systems used in real-world environments.

From the start, you’ll be involved in designing and building software that powers real-time, AI-driven decision-making.

Your work may include:

  • Building product features using TypeScript (React / Next.js) and Python (FastAPI / Django)
  • Designing and developing backend services and APIs for data-intensive and ML-driven workflows
  • Deploying and integrating machine learning models into production systems
  • Improving performance, scalability, and reliability across the platform
  • Collaborating closely with engineers and product teams to ship impactful features

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for engineers with strong fundamentals and a genuine interest in building scalable systems.

You might be a good fit if you:

  • Are a final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science or a related field
  • Have solid foundations in:
  • Algorithms and data structures
  • Systems design / distributed systems
  • Writing clean, reliable, maintainable code
  • Have hands-on coding experience through:
  • Internships
  • University or research projects
  • Personal projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions
  • Enjoy solving challenging technical problems and learning quickly
  • Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Can work onsite in Denver three days per week

Why Join

  • Work on real production systems with tangible, real-world impact
  • Gain exposure to full-stack development and ML infrastructure early in your career
  • Learn from experienced engineers in a highly collaborative team
  • Take on meaningful ownership from the start — your work will ship
  • Join a company operating at the intersection of AI, infrastructure, and real-world systems
