Hardware Test Engineer

Acceler8 Talent is partnering with a new startup in the Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) space, driving innovation through advanced hardware engineering and AI solutions. They're now hiring for a Hardware Test Engineer.

In this role, you verify their hardware system, test medical devices and subsystems, and drive the development and bring-up of custom test systems. You'll be contributing to the delivery of cutting-edge technologies that restore autonomy to people living with disabilities and improve their quality of life.

In this role, you will:

• Execute in-house design verification tests

• Execute testing with external test labs

• Work with engineering team to develop custom tests

• Collaborate with design engineers to characterize custom hardware

• Dry-running tests for transfer to vendors

This may be ideal for you if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in testing electro-mechanical hardware devices

• Experience with executing verification testing and participating in the test design loop

• Experience with writing test protocols and documenting results in formal test reports

• Experience working within a quality system

And also:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

• Familiarity with medical device compliance and standards

• Strong collaboration mindset

• Superior written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

• Occasional travel to vendors
