About the job
Machine Learning Engineer
We’re partnering with a fast-growing AI company building systems that automatically optimise digital marketing performance for consumer brands.
Their platform replaces manual campaign management with ML-driven optimisation engines — continuously improving performance, allocating budget in real time, and directly driving revenue.
They’re now hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to help design and scale the core models behind the platform.
This is a role where your models don’t sit in notebooks — they run in production, make decisions in real time, and have a measurable impact on business outcomes.
The Opportunity
You’ll work on applied ML problems at scale, including:
- forecasting and time-series modelling
- experimentation and causal inference
- optimisation and decision-making systems
You’ll own problems end-to-end — from framing and modelling through to deployment and iteration — in a fast-moving, product-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and deploy ML systems that optimise large-scale advertising spend in real time
- Develop models across forecasting, experimentation, and optimisation use cases
- Design systems that make continuous, data-driven decisions under uncertainty
- Collaborate with product and engineering to translate complex problems into scalable solutions
- Own the full ML lifecycle: research → production → iteration
What They’re Looking For
- Experience building and deploying ML models in production environments
- Strong grounding in statistics, optimisation, or applied machine learning
- Comfortable owning problems end-to-end with minimal structure
- Pragmatic, impact-driven mindset — focused on real-world performance, not just model metrics
Why This Role Stands Out
- Your work directly drives revenue for global consumer brands
- Real-world ML challenges at scale — not just offline modelling
- High ownership: you’ll take problems from idea to production
- Strong engineering culture with a focus on shipping and iteration
- Competitive compensation and meaningful equity
Who This Is For?
This role suits engineers who:
- Want to work on applied ML with clear business impact
- Enjoy solving optimisation and decision-making problems
- Prefer shipping models to production over pure research
- Like working in fast-paced, product-focused environments
