Software Engineer - Backend/Fullstack - San Francisco, CA
A Seed Funded startup who are building an AI workforce to automate insurance workflows and unlock unprecedented efficiencies across the industry are looking for a Software Engineer to join their team.
What will I be doing?
- Build the core AI Assistant product that automates complex insurance workflows like submission processing, policy comparison, and underwriting audits
- Develop high-performant backend systems that can handle enterprise-scale insurance operations
- Spearhead scalability efforts and optimize performance to meet growing demand
- Own a significant part of our backend stack while working directly with the founding team
- Continuously improve the product to meet evolving industry needs and challenges
- Shape the future of insurance technology by building AI agents that can reliably automate human tasks
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years of experience building products from 0 to 1 stage
- Strong experience developing high-performant backend systems in Python
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing
- Previous experience at a B2B SaaS company (bonus, not required)
