Up to $240K base + meaningful founding equity
I'm hiring for a stealth startup building an AI financial advisor designed to give individuals the kind of financial intelligence previously only available to hedge funds and wealth managers.
The system combines AI reasoning, financial data, and automated execution to help people make better financial decisions - from planning to investing to optimization.
We’re looking for software engineers with strong ML intuition who want to work at the intersection of AI systems, finance, and product.
What you’ll work on
You’ll help design and build the core systems behind an AI-native financial advisor.
This includes:
• Building AI systems that reason over complex financial data
• Designing agent-like workflows that analyze, plan, and execute financial decisions
• Developing backend infrastructure for financial data ingestion and modeling
• Building product features that translate AI outputs into clear user actions
• Shipping fast across ML, backend, and product layers
Expect to work across the stack — model integrations, system design, product features, and data pipelines.
What we’re looking for
We care much more about ability and curiosity than years of experience.
You might be a strong fit if you:
• Are an excellent programmer (Python preferred)
• Have experience building ML-enabled systems or products
• Are comfortable working across backend infrastructure and AI tooling
• Enjoy solving messy real-world problems with data and models
• Thrive in high-ownership startup environments
Helpful but not required:
• Experience with LLMs, agents, or applied AI systems
• Experience working with financial data or fintech products
