About the job
Acceler8 Talent is partnered with a startup working on advanced infrastructure technologies to power the next generation of AI and high-performance computing. We are seeking Analog and Mixed-Signal Engineers to join a team focused on developing high-speed transceivers that enable scalable, energy-efficient data movement. This is a chance to work closely with experts across architecture, digital, analog, and photonics domains to push the limits of communication performance.
We are hiring at multiple levels, with compensation determined by experience, education, and location.
Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with chip architects to evaluate feasibility and contribute to micro-architecture definitions
- Collaborating with system, digital, analog, and photonics engineers to establish electrical specifications
- Designing analog/mixed-signal circuits with emphasis on broadband and high-speed transceiver blocks
- Preparing design documentation and simulation reports for formal design reviews
- Driving block-level floorplanning and design view reviews
- Running post-layout and mixed-signal top-level simulations to ensure proper integration
- Defining production and bench-level test strategies
- Supporting lab validation to confirm circuit performance
Ideal background:
- MS degree with 6+ years of relevant industry experience, or PhD with 3+ years
- Strong background in analog front-end design, including trans-impedance amplifiers (TIAs) and transmitter drivers
- Experience implementing Tx/Rx equalization methods and circuits
- Familiarity with SERDES design and architectures
- Deep understanding of CMOS device physics, including noise, mismatch, and linearity tradeoffs
- Skilled in Cadence design flows and related EDA tools
- Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
Preferred experience:
- Familiarity with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools
- Hands-on validation and testing of high-speed analog/mixed-signal circuits
- Experience working with silicon photonic modulators such as Mach-Zehnder (MZM) or ring modulators
- Track record of delivering analog/mixed-signal IP with first-pass silicon success under tight schedules
