Director of Software (Compiler, Kernel) 

We are seeking a Director of Software to lead the overall execution and delivery of compiler and kernel technologies for an ML Accelerator team shaping the future of AGI.

You'll join a highly respected founding team who have a demonstrable track record of shipping world class AI Chips and who have been instrumental members of AI processor powerhouses over the last decade.

We are looking for someone to lead overall execution and delivery of compiler and kernel technologies for their hardware. Leading and growing teams of exception individual Engineers, having already hired a group of world class Engineers from the best teams in the Bay, and looking to continue this growth.

We are looking for a Director of Software with: 

• Demonstrable experience leading the delivery of a systems software stack (compilers, kernels) for an ML accelerator
• Experience leading and growing an engineering organisation, preferably from 20+ people but this is flexible
• Strong engineering background within systems software, preferably directly working on compiler and kernel builds

Location: Mountain View, ideally in office, potentially some hybrid flexibility
