Product Software Engineer

🚀 Hiring: Staff Product Engineer | Full Stack | React/TypeScript + Python | US - Remote

I’m working with a Series B-backed technology company that is building a modern growth and intelligence platform for a large real-world services industry.

They’re combining customer-facing software, mobile workflows, connected-device data, cloud services and applied AI to completely rethink how service businesses operate, retain customers and grow recurring revenue.

The company is rebuilding its product and engineering organisation around a much broader AI-native vision, and they’re looking for a Staff Product Engineer who wants genuine end-to-end ownership.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work across a roughly 50/50 frontend and backend split, building products used by multiple customer groups across a complex ecosystem.

You’ll own problems from initial product thinking through:

• Architecture and technical design

• React / TypeScript / Next.js product development

• Python-backed services and APIs

• Testing, deployment and production ownership

• Performance, reliability and product architecture

• Close collaboration with product, design and technical leadership

What they’re looking for

The strongest candidates will have:

✅ Built and shipped full-stack products used by real customers

✅ Strong backend engineering and architecture experience

✅ Genuine hands-on React / TypeScript experience

✅ Experience with Python or comparable backend services

✅ Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture, including SSR, data fetching, state and performance

✅ Owned features or products from ambiguity through production

✅ Evidence of measurable impact — reliability, adoption, speed, conversion or operational improvements

✅ Comfort working in a high-agency environment with senior engineers, designers and product leaders

There will ad-hoc site visits to the HQ in Houston, Texas (up to two times per month)

They want someone who is genuinely comfortable owning the whole product surface.
