Senior Software Engineer

I am hiring for a Healthtech building AI powered clinical documentation, coding and workflow technology used across leading US health systems. Its platform operates inside real clinical encounters, supports more than 200 specialties and integrates with major EHRs including Epic, Oracle Cerner and athenahealth.

They are hiring experienced engineers across three areas:

• Product: Own clinician-facing product experiences that turn complex AI and healthcare workflows into reliable, intuitive software.
• Platform: Build the backend and platform systems that support clinical AI products, engineering workflows and enterprise scale.
• Distributed Systems: Design and evolve the distributed systems that keep real-time clinical platform reliable as customers, workloads and product surfaces scale.

What you’ll do

• Own complex initiatives from architecture and implementation through production deployment.
• Build reliable systems for high-stakes, real-time healthcare workflows.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve scalability, latency and resilience.
• Work across engineering, product, design, AI and clinical teams.
• Maintain high technical standards while moving at startup speed.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of software-engineering experience; 7+ years for Staff-level Distributed Systems candidates.
• Substantial experience in an early-stage or high-growth startup - ideally several years with one company, demonstrating sustained ownership as its product, systems and team scaled.
• A record of personally designing, shipping and improving production systems.
• Strong ownership, sound technical judgment and comfort working through ambiguity.
• Experience in a healthcare technology startup is a plus.
