Staff Product Engineer

IoT / AI Start-up | Mostly Remote | Houston
Want to own a product, shape its architecture and build from 0 → 1, rather than inherit a roadmap and work through tickets?
I'm working with a growing IoT start-up building intelligent, connected systems that combine real-time sensor data, telemetry and AI to solve real-world problems.
Why it's interesting:
- Own the technical direction of the web platform, with real influence over product decisions
- Build 0 → 1 products and features, then help scale them
- Work on data-rich dashboards, customer-facing applications and internal tools
- Shape front-end architecture, design systems and engineering standards
- Work closely with product and design, with the autonomy to turn ambiguous problems into shipped solutions
- Join early enough to make a meaningful impact on the product and engineering culture
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years in web, front-end or product engineering
- Deep experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript
- Proven experience taking products from 0 → 1 → scale
- Strong understanding of front-end architecture, design systems and UX
- Experience with IoT, telemetry, real-time data or AI-powered products is a plus
- A hands-on engineer who enjoys technical ownership, autonomy and product thinking
📍 Mostly remote, with occasional visits to Houston.
