Lead AI Engineer

I am seeking a Lead AI Engineer to design and deploy AI-driven operational solutions on advanced platforms such as Palantir Foundry. You’ll lead end-to-end delivery of scalable AI, data, and workflow applications, partnering closely with technical and business teams to drive digital transformation.

Join a global, family-owned food manufacturing business operating across 100+ countries and serving some of the world’s largest restaurant, bakery, retail, and foodservice brands. With billions in annual revenue and a major enterprise footprint, the company is investing heavily in building an internal AI engineering capability to modernize operations through AI, automation, and advanced data platforms.

This is a unique opportunity to do startup-style AI building inside a large-scale enterprise environment. The team is focused on solving complex operational challenges across supply chain, manufacturing, planning, scheduling, and AI-enabled decision support using modern AI and data engineering workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy AI-enabled operational solutions using Palantir Foundry
• Build data pipelines, ontologies, and decision-support applications
• Productionize ML models and integrate them into operational workflows
• Lead development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including AI/ML systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (Code Repositories, Contour, Workshop, Ontology)
• Expert Python programming skills
• Experience with distributed systems, data engineering, and model deployment
• Knowledge of React or Angular
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and MLOps
• Experience building production-grade, real-time operational systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
