Founding Forward Deployed Engineer (German Speaking)
A company building AI agents that automate complex operational decisions in manufacturing at scale are on the lookout for a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to join their team.
What will I be doing:
- Spend time with users to understand their operational pain points, then build solutions
- Convert deployment insights into scalable product features and processes that move the company from custom implementations to repeatable systems
- Own customer rollouts from start to finish - navigate IT departments, align C-suite stakeholders, and train teams across Germany, EU, and US (expect up to 30% travel)
- Partner directly with founders to shape product strategy and position yourself for leadership roles like CPO or COO
What we're looking for:
- Natural product builder who transforms messy operational problems into elegant, fast, simple solutions
- Quick learner with exceptional listening skills and attention to detail
- Strategic thinker who automates and systematizes
- Skilled at navigating diverse stakeholders
- Fluent German & English required (customers span San Francisco to Germany)
