Hardware Design Engineer

Acceler8 Talent is working with a high-growth startup developing next-generation infrastructure to power AI workloads in modern data centers. Backed by a strong technical founding team, they’re building innovative systems that integrate advanced optical modules and push the limits of hardware performance.

They’re now looking for a Hardware Design Engineer who’s excited to tackle complex system design challenges and help bring cutting-edge products from concept to production.

In this role, you will:

• Design Ethernet switches, CPU subsystems, memory, and networking interfaces
• Develop complex high-speed circuit boards with advanced ASICs and optical modules
• Perform system-level analysis, simulation, validation, and debugging
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software, thermal, mechanical, and supply chain teams
• Contribute to defining and improving design standards and best practices

You should bring:

• A degree in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering field (BS or MS)
• Strong experience in hardware system design for high-speed, high-power applications
• Hands-on skills in signal/power integrity, thermal management, and compliance (UL, CE, FCC)
• Familiarity with CPU subsystems (x86, ARM, BMC), power systems (DC/DC), and digital logic (VHDL/Verilog)
• A history of successfully shipping complex hardware products
