About the job

🚨 Lead AI Engineer

📍 Remote U.S. (Preference for Eastern or Central time zones)

đź’° $160,000 - $245,000

You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, identify high-value operational problems, design AI/data/software solutions, and deploy them into production.

They’re looking for high-agency builders who can operate without a perfectly defined spec, challenge assumptions, map value streams, and build practical systems that drive measurable business impact.

What you’ll be doing:

• Architecting and deploying AI-enabled operational solutions

• Building data pipelines, ontologies, and decision-support applications

• Integrating machine learning models into production workflows

• Developing full-stack applications and APIs

• Working with advanced enterprise AI/data platforms such as Palantir Foundry

• Partnering directly with business and technical stakeholders

• Mentoring junior AI engineers and helping shape engineering best practices

What they’re looking for:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience

• Strong experience across AI/ML systems, data engineering, and production software

• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry is highly preferred

• Strong Python skills

• Experience with PySpark, distributed computing, model deployment, APIs, CI/CD, DevOps, and MLOps

• Full-stack experience with frameworks such as React or Angular

• Ability to think critically, work autonomously, and turn complex business problems into scalable technical solutions

Master’s degree in CS, Data Science, Statistics, or related field preferred

Why this is compelling:

You’ll get the ownership and pace of a startup-style AI buildout, but with the stability, data, complexity, and resources of a long-standing global enterprise.

The business problems already exist. The operational complexity is real. The opportunity is to build AI systems that create tangible impact at scale.

If you’re an AI/Data/Software Engineer who enjoys building production-grade systems, working close to the business, and solving messy real-world operational problems, I’d love to connect.
