The role:

🔧 Ship and own ranking and recommendation systems end-to-end in production

🎯 Improve matchmaking quality across a two-sided marketplace (who sees whom, in what order, and why)

📊 Build robust evaluation frameworks (A/B testing, bias, reliability, business impact)

⚖️ Optimize marketplace dynamics: incentives, feedback loops, cold start, supply & demand

🤖 Apply AI to automate workflows and increase throughput without breaking trust

🤝 Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and ops to tie ML directly to business outcomes
