Platform Engineer | AI Startup
📍 New York City — 5 days/week onsite
We’re hiring Platform Engineers for a fast-growing AI startup transforming the $700B home services industry.
Founded in 2023, the company has already reached 8-figure ARR, raised a $40M Series A, and is cash-flow positive, with a team of ~60 people.
The Role
You’ll build foundational infrastructure from 0→1, helping scale the platform, improve developer velocity and solve challenging distributed systems problems.
Looking for:
- 3+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering
- Proven 0→1 infrastructure experience
- Strong distributed systems/backend fundamentals
- Experience in high-calibre engineering environments — startups, leading tech companies or quant firms
- Exceptional technical achievements are highly valued — competitive programming, Olympiads, research, open source, etc.
The engineering team already includes 3 ICPC finalists and an IMO Gold medallist, alongside engineers from quant and competitive programming backgrounds.
