Security Architect

Acceler8 Talent is looking for a Security Co-Design Architect to join a Series-A start-up building next-generation computing platforms purpose-built for the most advanced AI workloads. Their mission is to dramatically accelerate access to frontier-level intelligence by designing deeply integrated systems that span silicon, hardware, and software.

This role is responsible for defining and driving end-to-end system security architecture across our platforms. You’ll take high-level security goals and turn them into concrete, shippable designs- working hands-on across hardware, firmware, and software, and coordinating execution across multiple engineering teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Translate broad security objectives into complete, system-level architectures
• Produce security design and architecture documentation across hardware, firmware, and software layers
• Lead system-wide threat modeling and define practical mitigations
• Determine where security mechanisms should live (hardware vs. software) and evaluate tradeoffs
• Specify new hardware security capabilities when existing primitives aren’t sufficient
• Partner closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams to co-design secure systems
• Design and review secure boot flows, key management strategies, and isolation mechanisms
• Drive cross-functional security reviews and alignment
• Communicate risk clearly and provide actionable guidance to engineering leadership

This is a hybrid role based in Mountain View, CA.
