Senior Software Engineer

I’m working with an early-stage AI company building an intelligent teammate for accounting teams.

The company was founded in 2024, has raised an initial $4M seed round and recently secured significant additional funding. The ten-person team is now expanding following strong early traction with accounting and finance teams.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of important product and engineering problems, including:

• Building reliable, production-ready AI agents
• Integrating AI into existing accounting and enterprise systems
• Developing contextual workflows across complex applications
• Working across product, backend, infrastructure, and applied AI
• Collaborating directly with users to understand and automate their work
• Shipping quickly and owning features from concept through deployment

What They’re Looking For

• 4+ years of strong software engineering experience
• Sustained ownership and progression within startup or scale-up environments
• Experience building and shipping customer-facing products
• Strong backend, full-stack, infrastructure, or applied AI engineering skills
• The ability to work across unfamiliar systems and learn quickly
• Excellent product judgment and attention to user experience
• Comfort operating with ambiguity in a small, fast-moving team
• A high-agency mindset—you identify important problems and drive them to completion

Experience with AI agents, enterprise integrations, accounting systems, or workflow automation is valuable but not essential.
