VP, Architecture (AI ASIC) 

We are seeking a VP, Architecture lead the design and build of bleeding edge photonic fabric technology for an MIT spin out building interconnects allowing heterogenous hardware to tap disaggregated memory.

The team are widely respected in the photonics community, very active from both their academic links with MIT and commercially. They are looking for someone to lead their ASIC architecture, sitting between hardware and software teams, guiding Engineers & Architects with a focus on memory subsystems, scale up networking and chip to chip connection architecture.

We are seeking a VP, Architecture with: 

• Demonstrable experience architecting complex silicon, preferably within the data movement or ML systems and networks space
• A desire to remain close to the design and architecture in a small, early stage team. You will both be hands on architecturally and build and manage a growing team

Location: Bay Area, primarily onsite

Compensation: Broken down into base salary, substantial sign on bonus and early stage equity
