A start up building an AI-native operating system for the $4 trillion automotive industry are looking for a Backend Engineer to join their team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and building production-grade backend systems that power autonomous AI workflows
- Developing APIs and services to support complex, real-time automotive operations
- Working with multimodal AI systems and integrating them into scalable infrastructure
- Optimizing performance, reliability, and scalability across distributed systems
- Owning projects end-to-end - from architecture and development to deployment and monitoring
- Collaborating closely with ML and product teams to ship impactful features
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of backend development experience (Python, Node.js, or Go)
- Strong background in building scalable, distributed systems
- Experience with databases, message queues, and caching technologies
- Interest in AI, automation, and building intelligent systems
- A high-ownership mindset - proactive, independent, and comfortable going deep on complex problems
