Senior AI Engineer

📍 Remote across the U.S. (Eastern/Central time zones)

 💰 $150-180k + strong benefits

This global food company operates across 100+ countries and is now building an internal AI engineering team focused on modernizing operational workflows through AI, automation, and data infrastructure.

The work spans areas like supply chain, planning, manufacturing, scheduling, and decision support, building production systems that directly improve how the business operates.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to identify problems, design solutions, and deploy AI-enabled applications into production.

This is a highly autonomous environment with broad ownership, where engineers are expected to think beyond tickets, operate through ambiguity, and build practical systems with measurable impact.

⚙️ What you’ll be doing:

• Building AI-enabled operational applications and internal tooling

• Developing data pipelines, workflows, and decision-support systems

• Deploying machine learning models into production environments

• Building full-stack applications and APIs

• Working closely with business stakeholders to solve operational problems

• Contributing to architecture, engineering standards, and technical direction

What they’re looking for:

• Strong software engineering background with experience building production AI/data systems

• Strong Python skills and experience with modern data infrastructure

• Curiosity around frontier AI tools, evals, Claude/Codex-style workflows, and modern development practices.

• Experience building scalable applications end-to-end
