🔐 Security Firmware Engineer – Embedded / Root of Trust
We’re looking for a Security Firmware Engineer to joined an AI hardware company building a next-generation in-memory compute platform designed to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient AI inference at the edge.
Backed by $120M+ in funding and founded on over a decade of advanced research, they are developing a PCIe-based accelerator to power low-latency, scalable AI across edge and distributed systems.
🔧 The Role
This is a hands-on firmware position focused on implementing secure boot and root-of-trust across a complex SoC. You’ll take ownership of integrating the chain of trust across boot stages and enabling secure firmware delivery.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Implement chain-of-trust across bootloaders and runtime firmware
- Integrate security IP into the firmware stack
- Enable signing, encryption, and validation flows
- Support FPGA and early silicon bring-up
🎯 Requirements
- 5+ years embedded firmware experience
- Strong C/C++ skills
- Experience with secure boot / root-of-trust
- Comfortable working close to hardware and debugging low-level systems
➕ Nice to have: RISC-V/ARM, PCIe firmware, security IP integration
Location: Remote from anywhere in US/Canada
